Our blue timetable is made up of two separate services - Hills and Heritage. You can choose either service, or why not do both? The choice is yours!

1. Hills - explore the spectacular Yorkshire Dales scenery from Leeming Bar or Leyburn on one of our heritage diesel trains. Hills trains depart Leeming Bar for Leyburn at 09:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30.

2. Heritage - travel back in time and take a short trip on one of our diesel shuttle trains between our restored Leeming Bar and Scruton stations where you can enjoy free guided history tours and experience what railway life was like in the early 1900s. Heritage trains depart Leeming Bar for Scruton at 11:20, 12:05, 12:50, 13:48 and 14:28.

Choose the “All Trains” option for tickets to travel on any of our trains between Scruton, Leeming Bar, Bedale, Finghall Lane and Leyburn.

Choose the “Heritage Only” option for train tickets between Leeming Bar and Scruton only.

Don’t forget, children travel for only £1 on all our scheduled trains and tickets are all-day rovers - this means that you can travel on any train in the same day and hop on or off the train at any station (covered by your chosen ticket) that you want!
