Event Name: River Dart Rumble

Location: River Dart Country Park, Devon
What to Expect
The River Dart Rumble is an exciting and challenging event set within the stunning River Dart Country Park. Participants will tackle 20+ obstacles over approximately 5km that combine natural features with manmade challenges. The course includes popular elements such as the Pirate Ship, Snake Slides, and Play Fort, as well as hills, lakes, streams, tunnels, slides, and more! The route is designed to offer something for everyone from children to adults.
This event is not a race; it’s a personal challenge, encouraging participants to complete the course at their own pace or within a team!
Essential Info:
- Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 8 years old. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult (1 adult can accompany 2 under 16’s).
- Water Confidence: The maximum water depth is approximately 0.9m, so participants should be comfortable in water.
Booking and Timings for River Dart Rumble:
Ticket Booking Process:
Step 1 – Select Ticket Type
- When booking your tickets, choose between individual tickets and group tickets.
- Individual tickets: Single tickets at the standard price.
- Group tickets: For purchasing 4 or more tickets at a discounted rate.
Step 2 – Confirm Quantity
- After selecting the type of ticket, confirm the number of tickets required.
Step 3 – Lead Booker Details
- The lead booker will need to enter their own personal details.
Step 4 – Enter Participant’s Information
- Next, enter the full name and email address of each individual participant.
- The email provided will be used to send the online waiver form.
- If booking for someone under 18, enter the participant’s name (not your own).
Step 5 – Name on Start List
- The participant’s full name will be added to the event’s start list. Ensure the correct name is provided.
Upon booking, you will be able to select your time slot. This time slot is your briefing time.
The briefing will take place at the start line, so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time. Attendance at the briefing is mandatory to participate in the River Dart Rumble.
Participants will need to register for the event and collect their race number at The Old Sawmill Café. Registration will open at 09:00.
Please ensure you register at least 30 minutes prior to your event briefing time to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Finishing: All finishers will receive a River Dart Rumble Branded Medal and a Free Return Day Admission Pass to the River Dart Country Park.

Standard Entry

Spectators:
Spectators are encouraged to come and cheer on participants. Entry for spectators is £3 per person, available through the River Dart Country Park website. Spectators can move around the course to watch various obstacles. Dog’s are welcome to come and watch but must be kept on a lead.
What to Wear:
- Sturdy footwear: Off-road running shoes are ideal.
- Long trousers and sleeves: To protect from cuts and grazes.
- Quick-drying clothing (lightweight and warm).
- Change of clothes & towel for after the event.
- Optional: Fancy dress for a fun team spirit, hats & gloves if it’s cold.
Event Rules & Safety Guidelines:
- Registration: Must be completed before participation.
- Waiver: Participants MUST sign a waiver to take part (“No Completed Waiver, No Start”).
- Route: Follow the marked route at all times.
- Queueing: Respect others while waiting for obstacles.
- Emergency: If you are injured or cannot continue, notify a marshal.
- Course Guidelines: Be kind and respectful to other participants and marshals.
