Kids Canoe & Kayak Club

Get the children out your hair for a few hours, our kids Canoe & Kayak club is suitable for children aged 8 – 16 years. A fully qualified instructor will run a session on our lake in both Canoes and Kayaks. This is an opportunity to learn skills in both canoes and Kayaks, forward and backwards paddling, stopping, turning as well as playing lots of games. 

How it works:

Your day will start by meeting at the River Dart Country Park. Your instructor will then kit you up in the relevant safety equipment. Get your Canoes and Kayaks out and then its on the water for the fun to begin.

Duration: 

09.30 – 12.30

What you will need:

• Clothing you can get wet in, ideally long trousers and long sleeves.
• Sturdy shoes (no crocs, flips flops, sandals or wellington boots)
• Any medication you may need. 
• A towel and change of clothes.

Suitable for 8 to 16-year-olds
