FRANKENSTEIN – a family friendly castle tour

Visit the castle laboratory and marvel at Dr Frankenstein’s latest creation. But beware, for all is not as it seems! Amidst the creaking corridors and flickering candlelight, a pair of devious miscreants, Ronson and Crook, have found their way into the castle. Unbeknownst to Dr Frankenstein, these sinister troublemakers have hatched a plan of their own. They seek to harness the doctor's scientific knowledge for their wicked ambitions, threatening to unleash chaos upon the world. Can you help to thwart them?

Travel through the castle as the story unfolds. Featuring songs, stories and a little spooky silliness!

THE VANISHING – an immersive poltergeist experience in the castle.

1873. The young daughter of Lord & Lady Muncaster has disappeared leaving no trace. The castle is searched, but nothing can be done - it’s as though she has vanished into thin air. The girl is never found and the mystery never uncovered.

150 years later. The past has not been forgotten and the castle is haunted by this dark mystery. A young girl has been heard sobbing in the castle, and no one dares enter the bedroom on the red corridor. Poltergeist activity and inexplicable phenomena have become frequent, and the castle’s occupants have been forced to flee, leaving the place deserted, as the haunting intensifies and fear turns to terror.

Your presence is requested as we try to uncover Muncaster’s mysterious disappearance and illuminate the dark secrets of The Vanishing.

What to expect: From the moment you enter the castle you will be immersed in a poltergeist experience, as you explore and try to uncover the strange mystery that has left Muncaster deserted. Over the course of 45 minutes, guests should be prepared for jump scares, sustained suspense and fear, and elements of interaction.

Content Advisories: The experience will feature themes of psychological torment, mental illness and exorcism. - We recommend the experience for guests of 18 years plus.

Important Notice: The Vanishing is a staged experience featuring scares and other immersive elements. The characters and stories featured in the experience are fictional, and at no point will guests be put in a dangerous or unsafe position. If any of our guests feel uncomfortable at any time, there will be a safe word to signal a desire to leave the experience. This event is not suitable for wheelchair users or those unable to climb stairs.
