Fear returns to Muncaster with a vengeance this year at SCARECASTER - our spine-tingling event for those aged 16 and over!
Building on last year's bone-chilling success, this year's festival promises to be even more terrifying.
Do you have the courage to confront the horrors within our new, scary maze? Step into the darkness - if you dare - and discover if you can survive the terror that awaits at every turn.
As you navigate the darkened pathways, keep your wits about you - monsters, zombies, and ghosts will be lurking in the gardens, ready to escalate your terror with their ghastly appearances.
When you need a breather, find refuge in our Stable Yard Sanctuary, where live music, tantalizing food, and a fully stocked bar await.

CASTLE GHOST WALK – For over a century, the servants' quarters have lain dormant, but the shadows within still harbour unsettling secrets. Venture through the dark, forgotten corridors where the air is thick with the weight of a hundred years of ghostly silence. Do the restless spirits of the past still roam these desolate halls? With every step, the fear of what might be lurking in the darkness grows.
This 16+ event is not for the faint-hearted – dare you uncover the secrets that lurk within the castle’s deepest, darkest corners?
Select the Scarecaster + The Ghost Walk to reserve your spot and choose your time slot – this is the time of your tour. Tickets allow entry to Muncaster from 8pm. Please note: The Castle Ghost Walk is not suitable for wheelchair users. The route takes you up and down stairs and along uneven surfaces. Please get in touch before booking for more information about access.
