The castle is owned by a Charitable Trust and by purchasing one of our gift experiences, not only are you going to delight a loved one, but you are helping to support this fantastic building and its collections so that they can be enjoyed for many generations to come.
We have a range of Gift Experiences for you to choose from:
(i) One-night stay for two with a luxury breakfast hamper
Treat loved ones to a one-night stay in one of our beautiful suites. This experience includes a continental breakfast hamper filled with goods from local suppliers. *Redeemable on one of our one-bedroom suites only. Must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase, is subject to availability and excludes the festive period 20th Dec- 2nd Jan.
(ii) Guided Tour for Two
Join one of our public tours, available from May-October, to discover the incredible history of Thirlestane Castle. Our experienced guides take guests on a journey by sharing their vast knowledge in an engaging and entertaining style. Enjoy a complimentary hot refreshment and a Scottish treat to complete the memorable experience.
(iii) Guided Tour for Two with a copy of the Guidebook
Join one of our public tours, available from May-October, as described above. Guests will also get to keep their own copy of our guidebook, providing further insight into the history of Thirlestane Castle.
(iv) Guided Tour for Two and Afternoon Tea
Join one of our special 'Tour and Afternoon Tea' events in 2024. Available on specific dates from May-October, guests can enjoy decadent treats created by the local award-winning bakery, Firebrick, before joining one of our exceptional guided tours. This gift voucher can only be redeemed for these special event dates and is subject to availability.

The monetary Gift Vouchers can be used online and in the Castle Shop or to buy Added Extras during an overnight stay at the castle, like breakfast hampers and wine.
