House Tours
Steeped in history, this unique house contains mementos of the family's history and travels - paintings, photograph albums, furniture, beautiful Indian and English silverware along with one of the finest private collections of clocks and watches in Britain outside those in the national museums.
The House is open from Sunday 6th April to Tuesday 30th September 2025.
Self-Guided Tours
Available during the week on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 1pm-3.30pm. The self-guided tour can take approximately 40 minutes using the map as interpretation. Room Stewards will also be in the house if you wish to ask any questions.
Guided House Tours
Guided house tours are available on Sundays and BH Mondays at 11.30am, 1pm & 2.30pm. A guided house tour last approximately 1hr 15min.
Garden entry is included in the price of a house ticket.
Filming and photography is not permitted in the house.
